Itinerary
Day 1: Fansipan – Cat Cat – Sapa
Our tour guide will pick you up from the train station in Lao Cai, transfer to Sapa via private car, check in to your hotel and breakfast.
After breakfast, we begin our trip to Cat Cat village, home to the Black Hmong people and a stunning waterfall. We return to Sapa for lunch, then take a train to the top of Fansipan, Vietnam’s highest mountain, offering breathtaking views of Sapa town and the surrounding rice fields. We’ll be back at the hotel by 6 PM, with the evening free for you to enjoy on your own.
Day 2: Sapa -Y Linh Ho- Lao chai -Ta van – Sapa
Depart from Sapa town square to Y Linh Hồ Village (6 km trek), renowned for its extensive rice terraces.
In Y Linh Hồ, we’ll pause briefly to admire the village, which boasts the most rice terraces in the entire valley. We may encounter curious locals before we move on to our lunchtime stop.
Lunch is at a local Vietnamese restaurant in San Sa Ho. Afterward, we continue our trek.
As we continue toward Lao Chai, we’re treated to sweeping views of the valley below, where the rice terraces stretch out in gentler formations. Along the way, we’ll stop at the home of a Hmong family, where you’ll see firsthand how they craft traditional garments using hemp—harvested locally depending on the season. We’ll take time to sit with the family and learn about their daily routines and cultural traditions.
From there, we head toward Ta Van. You’ll have the option to choose between two routes: a shorter, more relaxed path, or a longer, more demanding trail that climbs higher into the valley, offering spectacular panoramic views.
At last, we arrive in Ta Van—marking the completion of an unforgettable 15 km trek. Congratulations on finishing this remarkable journey!
